Take the
subway from the centre of Oslo to the end station: Østerås (track 2).
From there, we are a six-minute walk away: From the end station, go
stright ahead on the public footpath (close to the schoolyard) for
approx. 200 meters - and follow it down to the left. After a little
while you will find a Shell gas station and a Rimi grocery store.
Our Guesthouse is the next house at the same side. All together 6-7
minutes to go.
From Oslo Airport –
Gardermoen:
Use Airport shuttle bus”Røa-Bekkestua” from platform B28. Depart at
“Nordveien” after about 1 hr. (Ask the driver to announce the stop).
From the stop, pass by the Shell gas station and a grocery store ”Rimi”.
Eikeli Gjestehus is located as the first building on the left after
“Rimi”.
By Car – From the west
Arriving from Drammen/Sandvika on E18, use exit at Lysaker and head
for Jar (4-5 min). At Jar, follow signs for ”Østerå”s in both
roundabouts. Shortly after the second roundabout, make a sharp right
against ”Østerås” using ”Nordveien” road. After about 1 min, Eikeli
Gjestehus is on the right in number 39.
By car from the East.
Arriving on E18 from Oslo city, exit at Vækerø with signs for “Bogstad”
(camping). Follow road 160 approx 5 km (3,1 miles) to “Røa”. At the
Røa junction, make a left and enter road 168. After a few minutes,
exit to the left by the sign for “Østerås”. You are now on the road
“Nordveien”, were you will find us on the left after a few minutes
by car, next to the “Rimi” grocery store.
